What to see in Italy?

What should i bring on my trip to italy next summer and where are some places i should see?

• Okay so im 16 and planing on going to italy next summer. im going to be staying with my family who live 30 minutes away from venice. Now i know my mother will give me this huge list of things to pack but i want to know some things that i NEED to have . also im not sure where i should go and tour, i want to see everything since going to italy has been a dream of mine since i was a kid. Now im going to be there for a about a month and a bit so i have some time. Also how much spending money should i bring ? Since i am staying with my family i don't need to worry about hotel fees and i wont need to much for food since they will be providing most of it but i dont know how much stuff is over there. ! please help me out! thankss

  Other than whatever clothes you need here, it's best not to overpack for the stay. In your case, it's a little less important because you won't be lugging things all over the country. You'll definitely want a camera and memory. Maybe something like an ipod. If you do have electronics like that or a laptop, you'll need to get a plug adapter in order to recharge them here. Things like that generally do no need voltage converters. It's pretty easy to get around here on the trains.
