Has anyone here been on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas ship?

24 year old with cruising questions - Navigator of the Seas?

  • I am scheduled to go on the Navigator of the Seas on July 29th. The ship is huge and looks like it will be a great time. Sometimes it takes a while to get to know a ship from what I hear. Can anyone who has been on this ship give me any recommendations of where to start?

  • Answer:

Cruising is wonderful. You are going to have a great time. Cruise ships are very large and when you are onboard, it is surprising when you realize that you are floating on the water. There is tons to see and do. So the best thing is to get on board, and settled in. Find the way to your room, put some stuff away, maybe change your clothes, put on your swim suit, etc. Then, either go to the pool or even just walk around a little. It will be likely you will want to eat something, that is pretty much what cruising is all about. Just walk around a little. After about a day or so of cruising, you will be familiar with the boat and pretty much know your way around. Look up what activities are going on and try to plan your days ahead of time. That way you will know where you want to be when so you know when you have to do things. But cruising is all about relaxing, having a good time and eating. So just enjoy yourself and relax. Once you get on board you will be able to find your way around, maps and stuff will help and there is always crew members that are willing to help you. Have a great time on the cruise!
