I need ideas for a vacation.

In Need of Family Vacation Ideas?

  • We are in need of ideas for our summer vacation for the year. We have a 5 yr old boy traveling with us. Us parents would like to be able to relax on the beach some but we need something that has more to offer for the little one (who loves amusement parks!). We went to Disney World last year so that is out. We usually go on vacation for 5-6 days. Are willing to drive or fly (as long as its not longer than a 5 hr flight or so from Indianapolis, IN USA - will take longer drives). Thanks for any suggestions!! Some suggestions or thoughts: Muskegon, MI St. Pete, FL Gulf Shores, AL Myrtles Beach, SC Northern California (Pebble Beach)

    The Disney Resorts at Vero Beach or Hilton Head. Go back to Orlando and do Universal instead of Disney Virginia Beach and Busch Gardens at Williamsburg. There's no beach, but Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN) is a nice amusement park with good music, and there are many shows and attractions in the area.
