How long would a package take to get from China to Mississippi?

• I ordered a package from Sammy-dress.com and I used Hong Kong Post. It said it would take 7-25 business days to get here, but i read more details and it said it would take about 7-14 days! And it is a small package do it would take 1-4 days! I ordered it the January 13, 2012! And i should have gotten it by now! PLEASE! Can somebody tell me how long it would take? and They are closed on holidays for about 3-4 days so packages are delayed! And i think Chinese new year was the 23. can somebody tell me how long it would take??!!??!! thanks

  Always go the worst-case estimate. If you read one estimate that said "7-25" days, allow at least 25 days before you start to worry. Where were these different estimates? From Hong Kong Post, or on the website you used? Postage may also be delayed by how long the company takes to organise sending your package. If they had an estimate on their website, that is the best estimate to rely on. I also agree that 1-4 days is *very* quick, especially for an overseas package. I would not expect an overseas package to arrive any faster than 14 days at the very earliest, unless I paid extra for expedient (fast) shipping. Yes, Chinese new year was the 23rd, and much like any holiday in the US, this might slow down the package. If the company has already posted it (which is likely, if you ordered it on the 13th), it will hopefully not be slowed down too much. Much like the postal service in the US, Hong Kong post won't take too many days off for the holiday! Still, this could add a slight delay. I'm sorry to say it, but at this point, there's not much you can do but wait. Always look carefully at estimated shipping times before ordering. If you need a package by a certain time, don't order if there's a chance it might not get there! I hope your package comes soon! But it might not come for another two weeks or so yet! Wait till the 25 day mark!
