How can I spontaneously move to Brazil?

How hard would it be for an American to move to Brazil?

  • Like is Brazil picky about who they let in??? Also would it be hard for an American to move there like it would for an American to move to Europe?? You know like having to take AAAAAAAAALLLLL that time to get a work visa and only allowing certain people in who qualify for the jobs they need??

  • Answer:

For a work visa or permanent visa, these are the requirements: a) if you are the spouse of a Brazilian, or you are the father or mother of a Brazilian; or you are the son/daughter of a Brazilian b) you work for a multinational company, and the company has filed a petition for you to allow you to work in Brazil c) you have unique skills which cannot be easily found in Brazil; for example, you are a professor, or you have expertise in some field of knowledge the skills of which cannot be easily found in Brazil; d) you are a priest in a religious organization; e) you are a reporter in an international news agency, on temporary assignment; f) you are a renowned artist or sportsperson (for example, a skilled basketball player, and a Brazilian team has filed a petition for you). g) you are a diplomat, or member of the immediate family of a diplomat in assignment in Brazil; h) you are a retiree, and you have enough funds so that you won't need government assistance; i) you are an investor, and ready to invest in a company that will employ at least ten Brazilians .... so, your best options are to marry a Brazilian, or to work for a multinational company that has subsidiaries in Brazil...

Hello :) All I can say is, moving to Brazil is much easier since your already a US Citizen. They're not that picky, moving to Europe is much harder, like most countries will like if you can speak the native language. And countries like Germany would like if your work area is Medicine or Engineering, since Germany is the country of Engineering. I don't know what Brazil wants, but, if you've got money and good education you could be able to get your Visa, sometimes it takes a couple of years, like my friend is trying to move to the US, the Visa he's trying to get will take 12 years! Brazil is much easier, I'm moving to New Zealand next years :) Since you are a American it would be a lot easier for you to move to Brazil then for me (I'm From South-Africa)
