How can u obtain visa from Italy to visit US family sponsorship?

  • My cousin is in Italy and wanted to come to US to visit her father which she had not seen for 20+ years adn her father is retiring to Philippines in the next few months. How can she obtain a visa in Italy to visit US but will definitely return to Italy as her 2 kids are in Italy?

    "Charlie" is totally correct. All your cousin needs to do is go online a few days before departing Italy and apply for the "ESTA" program. That's the new name for the former "Visa Waiver" program. She would simply apply at "www.cbp.gov" , print and carry copy of the confirmation page, and enjoy visiting her dad. There is a $14 dollar fee, and the "ESTA" is good for up to a 90 day visit.

Italian citizens do not need a visa to visit the U.S. for up to 90 days under the Visa Waiver Program. They do need to fill out aa form called ESTA...quick and easy. See site below. All she needs is that ESTA number...so she should print out the form and keep it.
