What French cities do you recommend to visit?

USA ONLY what states or cities you recommend me to visit?

  • I've decided to come USA this summer, what cities you recommend me? Please don't tell me NY, or L.A., San Francisco, or any other big city. I want to visit a city or a state with interesting stuff, but not very far away, I mean, I dont have plans to go near Canada, I will prefer something from the middle to the south :) Im planning to stay 4-6 days, and I dont want to visit a city, I repeat, just a small city with interesting stuff. I'm actually, for more strange it sounds, I'm not looking for the beach, just somewhere with a lot of shops, and stores and entertainment, cultural activities, museums, etc. They told me about Yellowstone, but I'm not sure. I would like that an American can told me what to visit, thanks a lot! P.D. Im not searching places with very low costs, or something like that, Im looking for the best of the small cities on U.S.A. Im not interested on low prices. And, what do you say about Salt Lake City? The situation is my dad and I. Just a parent-son trip ;) THANKS A LOT! :D

    Out West, I like the Sacramento, CA-Reno, NV area as a historical area. Beautiful scenery, and a lot of history. You might like the Gulf of Mexico area, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi. Lots of small towns strung out along the gulf. I like Western Pennsylvania and Western New York. Buffalo and Niagara Falls, and Pittsburg has some nice museums.

If you have never gone before I recommend going to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Seeing it is a life-changing experience. I hope this is helpful.

In the south, I recommend Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. Lots to do there.

Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado Salt Lake City is nice, but it can get pretty cold. Pretty mountains though

North Capiva. No, it's not a city, but it is a MUST SEE!!! It's absolutely b-e-a-uuutiful. Located to the south of Sanibel (I believe), Florida, it's a secluded island where you can absolutely relax. Feel like taking a midnight walk? Feel free! Everyone there is absolutely trust worthy, and the beaches a gorgeousss. It's dog friendly, as long as you pick up the poop (I brought my German Sheppard). I dropped my wallet one night on a late night stroll; before the night was over one of the other beach goers had found my house and asked if it was mine. He'd been to all the houses up the way and no one took it! I thanked him and looked inside and all 1500 dollars was still there! Another thing; there's no cars. At all. There's only golf carts, and sand paths. There's a quaint little resraunt/convenience store in walking distance of every house. It's a wonderful way to spend a relaxing week. I absolutely recomment it.
