Greyhound Bus service between Detroit and Philadelphia?

Travelling from New York - Detroit on Greyhound Bus?

  • I'm travelling to the USA next week and was wondering if anyone could give me some information on the greyhound service from New York - Detroit in terms of how safe it is, is it comfortable and are the buses crowded? I'm Irish and I'm not used to travelling on long bus journies (the longest ive ever been on is 4 hours) - i know the schedule of the route and i know prices etc i just need to know general information on travelling on Greyhound in America. thanks for any help guys

  • Answer:

Greyhound buses stop roughly every 2 and a half to 3 hours for meal or rest stops of 15 to 30 minutes. Depending on day, route, and time, there can be not many people or every seat may be taken. Having taken Greyhound at all hours of the day and night I would suggest that you try to not get on a bus in the middle of the night if possible. GL :)
