How can i mail a letter to england from the east coast of the us?

i'm mailing a letter to two ppl in england. how much does it cost? do i have to go the post office and mail it or can i just put it in my mailbox for the post office person to pick up?

No, you do not have to go to the post office for an ordinary one ounce letter. In addition to the correct England address, includig their postal code (something like N332NW, get this from your friends) you also need to put England, or Great Britian at the bottom of the address. Then put 90 cents worth of stamps on the envelope and drop it into your mailbox. It doesn't matter if you are sending it to one or two people, by the way, costs the same.
