Can I work in New Jersey if I just moved from Pennsylvania without any proof of address?
-
I just moved to New Jersey , and is living with my uncle. He's living in an apartment house.I don't pay any utilities so I don't have any bills, so is there any way I can get proof within a week or so?Does changing my address through the postal office work?

Answer:
Of course you can. If you have a drivers license, you should get that updated as a normal step of having moved. Otherwise, most states provide an identification card that looks very much like a drivers license for non-drivers. Once that's issued, it's smooth sailing.
