Have you stayed anywhere amazing in South Lake Tahoe before?

Does anybody know of a or have a comprehensive list of all the nearest Ski Resorts around South Lake Tahoe?

• The reason I am asking is because some resorts that I have been to aren't listed on official Lake Tahoe websites, which makes me wonder if they are leaving out resorts which I can ultimately factor into my event planning. Thus far I already know of: Heavenly Mountain Resort Kirkwood Mountain Resort Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort To my understanding, these are in South Lake Tahoe, so I'm wondering if there are any other resorts near this area that I don't know of.

  Those are the only South Lake Tahoe ski areas. Squaw, Northstar, Alpine, Homewood, Diamond Peak and Mt Rose are all North Lake Tahoe ski areas. Sugarbowl , Donner and Boreal are closer to North Lake Tahoe, but really should be considered Donner, Truckee areas North Lake resorts would be about an hour or two (depending on weather and specific resort) away from South Lake Tahoe.
