What are the largest cities in Kentucky?

KENTUCKY - What are the good cities to live and work in?

  • I am looking to move to Kentucky (preferrably Southern, near Elizabethtown, etc.). What cities are good to live (affordability apartment wise) and offer good job markets?

  • Answer:

"Kentucky" and "good" aren't synonomous. "Kentucky" and "cities" aren't synonomous (except for Louisville, and even that isn't very large. Lexington isn't a real city, despite its population figures, and it's a crappy place to even visit.) "Good" and "cities" when they relate to Kentucky aren't synonomous, either. My point: You'd be better served living in Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, or Texas.

Hate to break it to you, but you're in the wrong state! The best area in the entire U.S. to live in , in terms of weather, economy, lack of crime and overall quality of life, is the Albuquerque, New Mexico area! Done much research on this, and its a fact, Jack!

Kentucky is in the lowest quarter of US states for quality of life. The only city in Kentucky that appears in the Global Quality of Life survey is Lexington, with a respectable 51st place. This is slightly behind Seattle, Lisbon, Milan, and New York. For comparison, the highest ranking cities in the whole USA are San Francisco and Honolulu, which are tied for 27th place. Hate to break it to the poster below, but no cities in New Mexico even appear on the list.
