How can I fly to Nashville?

Can I still take a roadtip to Nashville this Summer?

• First off, I'm so sorry to anyone who's life was effected by the recent floods in Nashville, Tennessee. Me and my friend were planning on taking a roadtrip to downtown Nashville this Summer (probably late June or July). We're both huge country music fans and there seems to be no better place to go. After taking the year off, I'm going to school 900 miles away so this was going to be something fun that we could do together before leaving for school. However, the recent floods in Nashville seem to have ruined those plans. Now, I don't know how destructed it is or if still going down there would even be an option so can people who live there or near there help me out? If we planned to go in June or July, would we still be able to see a lot or is it a lost cause? Thanks a bunch!

  Y'all come! Things are getting back to normal in downtown Nashville. Most of the flooding there was in the basements of buildings where they had their electrical service panels and stored merchandise. They are working hard to get everything downtown open by the CMA Music Fest on June 10-13. The Ryman Auditorium and Country Music Hall of Fame are fine. Some things will be closed for awhile. The Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Opry Mills Mall, Grand Ole Opry House, and Schermerhorn Symphony Center have heavy damage. But they are hard at work on all of them. You can check for updates at the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau website at www.visitmusiccity.com Unless you are planning to come for the CMA Music Fest in Nashville or Bonnaroo in Manchester, I don't recommend coming anywhere close to here June 10-13. Any other time, we'd love to have ya.
