How do I send a letter from the U.S.A to Brazil?

How to send a letter from USA to UK?

  • I want to send a letter to a fan mail address in England. I live in Dayton, Ohio and the address I'm going to send the letter to is James Phelps c/o JOP Project PO Box 9765 Sutton Coldfield B75 5XB UK It's only going to be a simple piece of paper with my letter written on it inside a regular sized envelope. Im guessing id just need like two stamps. But I don't know. It would have nothing enclosed but the letter, so it's probably only going to weigh like maybe 6 ounces or something. Anybody know how many stamps I need or what I need to do? Please and thank you

  • Answer:

Your letter will weigh nothing even close to 6 ounces with only 1 sheet of paper. I sent two pieces of paper and a short piece of paper and it only weighed 1/2 ounce. Anyway, a regular envelope weighing less than an ounce going to the UK costs 98 cents for standard delivery. You can either take it into the post office and have it mailed or put at least 98 cents worth of stamps on the envelope.

Other answers

Depends on weight. After you seal up your letter, weigh it. A couple peices of paper is going to be under an ounce. Go to usps.com and click on "calculate a price". A one ounce letter to the UK is 98 cents, thus you will need 3 stamps.
