Naples to Positano by taxi?

Planning a trip to Naples, FL for two 18 year olds?

  • My cousin and I are trying to plan a Spring break trip in March from Washington DC to Naples, FL. We are hoping to fly into Ft Myers and stay in her parents condo in Naples. However, we aren't sure how we are going to get from the Ft Myers airport to Naples (and vice versa on our way back) and her condo is also a few miles from the beach. We are wondering if we should try finding a rental car for 18 year olds or one that we can rent under our parents names and drive (legally)? Or would it just be cheaper to take a taxi/shuttle from the airport and use cabs to get around Naples the rest of the trip? Just need a little help planning, thanks

    I'd rent a car if at all possible. This will give you much more freedom and flexibility, like going to Ft.Lauderdale or Miami Beach during your trip (which I'd recommend.) South Florida is great in March. Have fun!
