Reciprocity from California to New York?

New York or California? Help!?

  • New York or California? Help!? Manhattan or L.A.? really need help, i want to move to these places or the vacinity but really really unsure which one. New york's winter looks amazing but california sun looks great too. New York's big rep and sites are dragging me in but the prices and rent rates are horrid. Help!

    New York is where it's at. Work hard and play hard (and pay hard for rent). California is more laid back, nice beaches etc., but nowhere near the fast pace of NY. There's a reason they call it the city that never sleeps.

Go to California. You can always visit New York for the weekend. It's way too expensive, and the people in San Diego are soooo friendly and laid back so I've heard (I have friends there).

I love NYC. It is so easy to get around in, so you don't have to factor a car or insurance into cost of living and it is a great place to live. Plus you can easily get out to the Hamptons for a weekend!
