Moving across country, cheapest way?

What's the Cheapest way to move across country? I'm moving from Oregon to Alabama.?

• I'm not taking very much with me. Just the things in my bedroom so a dresser a desk my bed clothes a tv book shelves and such. I'm also taking a coffee table and table and chairs. some kitchen stuff glasswear and such but other then that not much. I'm just trying to find the cheapiest easiest way to get all of my things across country..any ideas or suggestions? Thank you and Merry Christmas =]

  Rent a U-Haul. Get the boxes to pack your things up for free at 11;30 PM when Walmart restocks and before they put the boxes in the compactor. Go up the aisles with a shopping cart and get the boxes and buy the tape from Walmart. Wrap your stuff in plastic bags before you wrap them in newspaper as the ink will ruin things or else you can buy the paper to wrap them in at U-Haul. It might be cheaper to simply sell the furniture on craigslist.com before you go and then buy more furniture when you get there on www.craigslist.com
