Any great Italian restaurants in St. Pete's Florida?

Whats St. Petes Florida (pinellas county) like?

As of right now, My boyfriend and I live in Buffalo, NY. Recently my boyfriend was offered a job down in St.Pete Flordia, painting cars and collision for Shmidts Auto Body. We live in a little quiet town called corfu, not much action, rainy/warm 6 months out of the year, and snowy/wet for the other 6. If he was to accept the job we'd have to start looking for a place in florida to live. I personally would like to go in Pinellas County, I was thinking like, Treasure Island, Clearwater, Gulfport. somewhere in that area. My question is, whats it like down there? The weather? Bad storms? Lots to do? Good night life? Hows the cost of living? Lot of crime? Is it safe? Overall Id like to hear what some of the people that actually live there have to say about it. The good and the Bad
