    Hi - I live in Texas, but ever since I was 6 we've gone to Tennessee on vacation. We always spend the night in Arkansas, so maybe I can ease your mind a little! Its very green and humid there, especially if you are used to Arizona. The terrain is more hilly and rocky. Its really a pretty place. It is not as backwoodsy and hilbillyish as you will hear. In the years we've been going on vacation there - since about 1992 - it has really developed a lot. Little Rock is a fun town. I've visited Pine Bluffs for a week - it was nice too. Eureka Springs is cool too. You'll do fine!

It can get very muggy during the summertime but it's a pretty laid back state to live in.

I live in Hot Springs, AR and i have for my entire life. It's not anything like the rumors that guy up there is talking about... No one marries their relatives.... I guess, its pretty much like most other places in the south. We do have accents and its kinda funny at first, but u will probably get one too while u live here. lol, and i'm serious about the accent.... Arkansas has a lot of natural beauty with a lot of history. If u enjoy the outdoors, u will love arkansas

North Arkansas is mountains and ticks. I let the goats pea on my legs so to chase the ticks off. South Arkansas is all coton picken fields.
