PLANNING SPRING BREAK: Best place to visit in California?!?
-
My 5 friends and I would love to go on a vacation on Spring Break. We have all talked it over with our parents, and they are all OK with it, seeing that it is our senior year of high school. Our only issue would be checking into a hotel since 3 of us are 17 and 3 of us are 18. Are many hotels in Cali OK for an 18 year old to check in? And also, where is a fun place in California geared towards the younger party crowd that teenagers would enjoy? We want to be near a beach of course. Thanks for any help in advance!

Answer:
An 18 year old should be able to check into a hotel because they are legally an adult. San Diego would be fun because there is a large tourist industry. Maybe start in LA to go to theme parks and get a rental car so that you could travel to San Diego.

I would recommend San Francisco or Los Angeles. SF Weather: Unpredictable, might be cold, warm or even rainy SF Safety: Places is really safe unless you are in the wrong part of town, everyone here is usually really friendly. SF Fun: Im sure you guys wll enjoy the place, when I was still in highschool I enjoyed hangout here, theres always fun places to go to and because its Spring Break there will be a lot of kids your age outside and if you are looking for a party just ask even if you aren't looking for a party there will be plenty of kids around just to hangout or if they are really nice they will show you around. SF Transportation: The bus will take you anywhere, bus are also very reliable, many times more convient that a car. SF Beaches: I don't really go to the beach much but the place is okay when its cold and better when its warm. LA Weather: Sunny, warm. Great Weather overall. LA Safety: In my opinion place isn't that safe, a lot of criminals or gangsters out at night time and since you girls will be new be precaution at night. LA Fun: Most of the stuff will be tourist stuff like Hollywood, or theme parks. Besides that most of it is just for the older kids 21+, of course there are going to be people your age in LA but because LA is like a giant suburb everyone will be in driving around and you probably won't find anyone there to hangout with unless you actually know them. LA transportation: You will need to car to get anywhere, buses here are hard to navigate and you will need to wait atleast a hour unless you get a cab. LA Beaches: Warm Beaches!
