Where is the best place to live in California?

• I am doing a school project and the question asked if you could choose anywhere to live in the world, where would it be, and it also has to do with the 5 terms of geography. I would really like to live in California because I want to stay in the United States, but I am not sure which city or town I want to pick. I would love a city/town that has four seasons, but I don't mind warm all year round. I would also like a place that is close to the beach and the city, so basically the best of both worlds. A good education system would be nice and an area with job opportunities. Also, any place that is a good place to raise a family would be great too :) Thanks so much. I am open to any suggestions.

  San Diego is one of the nicest cities in the country. It's a major tourist destination and there are tons of things to do. Belmont Park has a vintage wooden roller coaster (one of two remaining seaside coasters on the west coast) as well as other rides. There is a boardwalk that runs the entire 3 mile length of both beaches. Balboa Park is the largest urban cultural park in the country. North County San Diego is home to the Zoo's Wild Animal Park.
