Where is a good place to go in America on holidays?

  • so me and my family (5 of us) live in Ireland and were thinking of going to New York but we are undecided..!! i want to go to Florida or California so we're not sure where to go..it can't be too expensive that's why my parents want to go on the east coast and also cause the west would be a very long flight...but yeah any ideas where's best holiday wise. thanks!

    Consider Virginia Beach and the "Historic Triangle"(Jamestown, Williamsburg, Yorktown). Much less expensive than the other places you mentioned.

Depends what kind of people you are. If you are impressed by the lights and glamor of the city, then yes, New York. If you want a "tropical" beach vacation then try Florida. Just keep in mind the US is like half a continent. Not that I have anything against New York, I think we have a lot more to offer. I think the National Parks like Yellowstone are true wonders, however most of the parks are located farther west.
