What is there to do in Minnesota that is not super expensive?

How Much Money Would I Need to Do My Road Trip to Minnesota?

  • So I really want to visit my friend that lives in Minnesota in the twin cities this summer and I live in Wisconsin and so me and my friend live about 6-7 hours away from eachother so my plan that I was hoping to do is visit him this summer but I would like to know how much money would I approximately need to go visit him in Minnesota for about two weeks?! As far as transportation Idk yet but either car or bus and as for living situation Idk yet because hotels I know can be expensive and I don't want to stay with my friend because I've never been to his house before so that would be kinda risky! So idk what do? So about how much money do you think I would need to have to make this trip to see him in Minnesota for two weeks work? Ideas, advice, suggestions?! Thanks in advance! :)

  • Answer:

If you're going to do it on the cheap, probably around $140 Buy your own food from the grocery store, and do a rideshare from your town to the Cities. If you pitch in 30 bucks, you'll be fine. In all, it'll be 110 for the food and 30 for the gas, you're doing fine.
