What do you like about Pittsburgh?

What is Pittsburgh PA like?

• We might be moving there and am not sure what it is like. We want a small town close to the pittsburgh airport because of work. We are looking to rent at first and then buy a home. I want to know all I can about Pennslvania, weather, work, income, race population all there is!

  Pennsylvania is lovely, especially at this time of year. Like many of the Northeastern states, the leaves are all turning brilliant oranges and reds. The weather does what it wants, snowing one week and streaming sunshine the next, but for the most part it's a pretty mild climate. The people are friendly, and in most of the major cities, sports-driven. Pittsburgh's got the Steelers and Penguins, and Philly has the Eagles and Flyers. Also, there's no retail sales tax in Pennsylvania, which means shopping is awesome :) Cost of living is also one of the lowest in the nation! And Pittsburgh was rated number 1 in air quality in the U.S.
