How would I get to work in an American summer camp?

  • Im from the UK and I heard that when your like 18 you can go over to America and work at a camp for the summer. Iv tried looking it up on the internet but can't seem to find the right information. Do you know how I can do it or a website I can go on?

    My daughter was at asthma camp at a YMCA camp site. The counselors were from all over the US and overseas. they stayed all summer and did several different camps, the one after asthma was for kids with cancer. I am not sure how the hired the counselors but you can try the YMCA web site for info
