How long does it take for USPS to send a (internationally sent) package from New York to Los Angeles?
-
I sent a package with (Priority Mail International) from Istanbul, Turkey to my friend in Los Angeles, CA. I checked on USPS's web site, my package was delivered to ISC New York on January 10. Status is still: "Inbound International Arrival" When do you think the package will reach my friend? What should I expect to see on USPS's Track & Confirm page (meaning, will it say anything like "On the way to California." or will directly pass to "Package was delivered the recipient."?) Thanks. :-)

Answer:
It takes two or three days once it's released from customs. In my experience, the USPS web site is unlikely to show any more updates until it's delivered.
