How old do you have to be to apply for a visa to live and work in America? UK ONLY!!?

  • I'm 16 and going to college in September '12. The course i wanna do is 2 years, so i will leave when im 18. I was wondering how old do you have to be to apply for a visa to live and work in America. It has always been a dream of mine to work and live in America. Questions: How old do you have to be to apply for a visa? How much are they roughly? How do i go about applying for one, just before i leave college?     You ust be at least 18 to apply for a vis. But, you haveno chance to get a work visa...thewy are nearly impossible to get. You ust be extremly educated, skilled, and experienced in a job no American can be found for. There is no such thing as a work visa for casual or low skill work. you may be interested in site below that gives you the chance to live and work in the U.S. for a year...they take care of the ia issue.

You can only apply for a work visa if you have skills that are needed or have relatives or a job sponsorship , there are no work arrangements between the 2 countries.
