Campgrounds in Pennsylvania?

Campgrounds in PA?

  • I live in Wisconsin and I am planning a road trip to Pennsylvania with two of my friends. I might be moving there in a year and I wanted to get a feel for the area before I take the plunge. We plan on leaving august 14th and are staying for 4-6 days (haven’t decided for sure); it is about 1,130 miles and 19 hours (without stops, which we will obviously be taking). I did a gas calculation and I will be spending about 350 dollars round trip on that alone. We were talking about finding camping grounds to save on lodging seeing as how we have an extremely limited budget. So I was wondering if anyone knew of good camping grounds near West Grove or Philadelphia area, campgrounds in either place or in between would work. Also, if anyone knows about travel packages that places might offer like gas cards or coupons, something like that.

  • Answer:

After years of shunning RVers, AAA is trying to cash in now. When the bottom falls out of the RV market, watch how fast drops then. Try the old stand-bys, Woodalls and Good Sam RV Club. Good luck

Is anyone you know a member of AAA? They have mega info. I live in Pa. but all the way NORTH WEST. Hope you enjoy your tour. ♥
