• My boyfriend and I want to go to Myrtle Beach in August. I am 21 and he is 20 (he wont be 21 til October). Most of the hotels there has a minimum age of 21... if I use my credit card to pay for the hotel can we buy a room at a hotel with a minimum age of 21 even tho hes 20? We went in 2010 and stayed at Bermuda Sands who has a minimum age of 18, but there prices have doubled since the boardwalk was built and that hotel is NOT worth that price. So Im a little confused bout if I use my info for the room and my card if we can buy a room. I know they check the card and license of peraon who purchaced the room, but will they check his too? My only other option is 18 minimum check in age... which i dont wanna do bc most are trasht but let me know of any hotels for my situation. :) thank u soooo much!

  Have you checked out the vacation rental section of www.craigslist.com? There are tons of rentals to be had, I am sure you should be able to find what you are looking for.
