What is the cheapest bus from philly to DC that is more reliable than the chinatown bus?

I want to travel from philadelphia to washington DC late friday afternoon. i've heard that chinatown busses never leave on time and make long stops and are generally just unreliable and a hastle to take. I dont want to spend more than $40 bus peterpan and bolt don't have service between philly and dc yet, are there any other busses $40 or under?
