How can i apply to a community college in the USA?

Help : How to Join Community College in USA from Europe ?

  • I want to join a Community College in USA and i live in Europe,but they require more money than i already have. Can i join a Community College in USA,and make the other part of money by working and Financial Aid ? or the Colleges in US dont accept you like that ? i've seen that more that 55% of student in colleges have Financial Aid . Can Someone please help me ?

    No. It costs at least $20,000 a year to go to even a US community college. And you have to prove you have access to this to the US government before they will issue you a visa. The student visa only allows you to work 20 hours a week in a job that applies to your major. You cannot make enough money to do more than pay for your food. You will NOT get any US financial aid. You have to be a US citizen or green card holder for that. Also note that an associates degree from a community college is totally useless to apply for US immigration. You need at least a masters degree from a real university and it must be in the sciences. A foreign student can only get aid once they are in graduate school in the sciences.

You do not "join " a community college. You must apply and be accepted. You will need an F-1 student visa to go to college in the U.S. you must pay your first year tuition and prove you have enough money saved to live on. You can work up to 20 hours a week on campus only. You are not likely to get any kind of financial aid as an foreign student.

No. I'm not sure CCs even give financial aid - they're already pretty inexpensive. And US schools don't give financial aid to foreign students. CCs are usually for students who live in the area where the college is, as many of them don't have housing. They're meant to serve the community they are in, not students from other states or countries.
