Best things to do in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN? ?
-
I have a couple friends coming in from OK next month. We are planning to rent a cabin in Pigeon Forge. They are only going to be in town for a couple days. Looking for suggestions on the best ways to show them the wonders of the great Smoky Mtns. The trip will be 4 adults so dont need anything regarding kids. Thank you!

Answer:
The best way to show them the wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains is to concentrate on seeing the national park. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are full of tourist attractions, but they have little to do with GSM. Spend your time enjoying the park including Cades Cove, maybe horseback riding or a hayride, the pioneer village, the hiking trails and streams. Go up to Newfound Gap and Clingman's Dome. See the real Smokies, not the artificial manufactured one.
