Traveling on Amtrak or Greyhound? From Miami to Orlando.?
-
I am a female traveling alone and am wondering which is safer, Amtrak or Greyhound, on a trip from Miami to Orlando. I've heard some pretty bad things about the people on Greyhound but so far for Amtrak I haven't heard anything about it being dangerous. Plus, I checked the prices and Amtrak is about $10 cheaper than Greyhound. Which should I pick?

Answer:
Amtrak is completely safe. The downside is that there are only two trains that make the run and the trip will be slower than by bus. Still, if you aren't in a rush, the train will be more comfortable. It even has dining cars and snack cars! If you want to look at the Amtrak schedules, here's their website: http://www.amtrak.com The city codes are "MIA" and "ORL"
