Have you ever been to Gettysburg PA?

Anyone live in Gettysburg, PA??

DH and I have been planning to move to Hanover, PA for some time now, but I actually just found a house in Gettysburg that I really like. What I can't find is any information about living in Gettysburg. I can only find tourist info about battlefields and cemeteries! Are there new shopping plazas for convenience? Is it modernized or is it still a wicked small town with nothing around? I've never even been there, so I have no idea!! If anyone knows the area well, the house I like is actually in Lake Heritage if that helps give me better info. Thanks for anything you can tell me!!

I have lived in Hanover and have been to gettysburg about a million times....Each time I went, it has become less and less historical.....Which to me is sad.....
