Encounters With Canada theme weeks?

Could someone recommend somewhere to go for vaction?

  • Have 2 weeks of leave.. Don't know where to go. I've lived in England and Japan for 5+ years each (father in USAF), husband has already been to Australia. Went to Vegas for our honeymoon, I didn't care for it. We want to go somewhere new together. We live in Hawaii now, so don't want to go anywhere thats mainly beach attractions since we can do that here at home. Moving to Georgia next year so East coast isn't an ideal vacation zone either since we will be closer to those areas. Do you need a passport for Canada? (His expired) What to do there? Apart from theme parks is there much more to do in California? Any other states on West coast that we should definately visit? What are your favorite places for vacation? Thank you!!!

  • Answer:

You should take a cruise to ALASKA. See the glaciers, the fjords...It is breathtaking!

Anynmore Canada does require a passport but I think a certified Birth Cert and a few other forms of ID pass you can check on the state dept website his Military ID is not acceptable form of a passport cause it is personal travel. On the west coast I lived there for 4 years and the most beautiful cities are there Monterey bay, San Lous Obispo, the more north you go the nicer they are I would do a road trip up PCH ( Pacific Coast Highway ) or Highway 1 its beautiful and you will deffinitly enjoy the state much more

Arizona and Utah have some great places to visit and you should consider that. Surprisingly Northwest Wyoming is my favorite vacation spot. Start in Jackson Hole and explore the Grand Tetons. Its an awesome place that is a classic scene out of the old west. Then head up to Yellowstone National Park. The scenery will take your breath away, the geysers will impress you, and the wildlife is some of the best on the planet. There is something for everyone here. There are grand hotels to relax in, a lake for fishing trips, and plenty of trails for hiking and horseback riding. You can see grizzly and black bears, wolves, coyotes, elk, moose, antelope, and bison just to name a few creatures. Visit www.yellowstone.net to help plan your trip. Also make sure you visit the discussion forum there to see pictures, reports, and get advice from regular park visitors. It is a magical place you will never forget and immediately want to go back to. There is something about Yellowstone that gets inside of you. You will never forget sitting in a green mountain valley, watching a herd of bison cross a river, with wolves howling in the background.

you could go to the states,Asia,Africa, but why not try somewhere that is different?a country that the prime minister is a lady,a country that is involved in the war,BUT ONLY TO HELP OUT THE INJURED,NOT FIGHT!!!!.a country that says no to war and is against it.a country that is beautiful.a country that has mountains to climb Vally's to see, beautiful spots that it seems like you are the first person ever to be there,a country that doesn't have many people, about 4 million.A country that you can gamble your life away or jump of a tower, that is like 150m high,go to a surf beach and at the same time it is safe.that country is NEW ZEALAND.its clean, its green and its not crowed.THINK ABOUT IT.email me if you do come here,id love to show you around!!

Ok first off England is so cool my dad is there right now on business and I personally live in the Baltimore Area and let me tell you what the East coast is full of places for you to visit (when you move) ill break them down into quick catagories Gambling although you didnt like it Atlantic City is awesome, along with delware and all up and down the east coast. Entertainment Florida is a great place to go on vacation filled with attractions take for example Disney may seem for little kids but believe me there is so much stuff for adults to have fun its not even funny. New York City this is the most populated city in the United States and again there is so much to do from walstreet to broadway you name it History I love the East Coast because most of our history of a nation has been written here please go to Washington D.C. its amazing see the decloration of indepence, the Lincon merioal, the white house, the captiol there is so much its unbelivable West Coast If you are interested in west coast there is always california which everybody know of but seattle is an absoultley beatiful place that you would love so much stuff to do and Canada is nice you do need a passport but I got by with a Birth Certificate so maybe you too but I wouldn't count on it good luck and God Bless. P.S. hope you have a great marriage
