What to bring on a trip to new york and washington dc with school?

• in march over spring break me and my school are going to new york and washington dc i can only bring a small luggage and i usually over pack so what should we bring i need to bring fancy stuff to cuz we'll be going to a show on one of the nights were going for a week and i want to be prepared ps im a girl and im 13

  Here are some suggestions- -money ( new york is an amazing place to buy souvenirs and designer clothes in) -tampons if you had your period (maxi pads take up too much space) -camera with lots of memory cards -CHARGERS! phone chargers, camera chargers, laptop chargers EVERY KIND of what you might bring -cellphone (in case you get lost, or if you just want to call someone to let them know how youre doing) -one stick of eyeliner, one mascara, and maximum 3 eyshadows THATS IT -maximum 3 small necklaces -comfy shoes ( i suggest you were these and have others in your suitcase) -flip flops ( they take up little room and are great for just walking) -something to have you occupied on the bus/plane like an ipod -a hair brush (small flip ones are best) -hair ties (about 3-5) -a pen and a pencil, you never know if you have to fill out something last minute -cough drops (like 4) -some adivil in a plastic bag (in case of headaches, cramps) -3 bandaids Dont overpack the clothes either!
