What's the best brand of extreme cold weather gloves?

Whats the weather like in March?

  • Im going for a class trip, just like everyone else! I am not from a place where it gets cold (at all) so I dont know what to expect. will i need a thick jacket? uggs? gloves? scarf? keep in mind i get cold easily. whats the temp range?

    Well, this is my suggestion as March can be anything. This year we are told will be a harsh winter. Our bad winters have a tendency to push into March. The worst storm on record here was 3 feet of snow in 1993 on March 10th. So to answer your question...could be gorgeous and warm 60-70s in day; gorgeous and brisk 40-50s; or we could have below 0 with 3 feet of snow. Suggestion...write back in the week before your trip and we'll be happy to update you on the possibilities. We're happy to help!

So you're going on a trip to Washington, D.C.? My sister just left tonight to go on a school trip there. It will be chilly, you should bring a thick jacket, gloves, scarf if you prefer. It is kind of cold here in Ohio and Washington, D.C. is further up north, meaning it will be even a bit more colder. So make sure you bring plenty of clothing to keep you warm. I also suggest a think blanket for the ride there, if you're travelling by automobile. The temperature could be in the 30's to 50's, (fahrenheit). Hope this helps! :)

the things you mentioned would most likely be a good idea... i don't live far from there and march can be pretty chilly. ususally in march it can be anywhere from 35-60. the thing about march is there is ussually a lot of wind so it feels a lot colder then it really is.

In Australia, the start is usually very hot! but then it starts to cool down and becomes a comfortable temperature that doesnt need a jacket

you don't say where you're going but be safe and bring the stuff you mentioned. oh, DC. yeah. it's gonna be freezing.
