How can I raise money for a high school trip to Spain?

What are some good ways to raise money for a school trip?

  • I'm 14 years old and my school is going on a trip to Washington DC next school year. I have to raise about $1000. Any ideas to raise some money? Thanks

    If I were 14 years old again---and found a way to earn $1,000 during my Summer break from school---I'd say "Screw the trip!! I'm BANKROLLING MY EARNED money in MY own savings account!!" Do the math: You EARN $1,000 at 14---and continue on earning the same ( if not MORE ) by age 17--when you're upon High School Graduation: That's just over $3,000 of YOUR money!! Email me here on Answers---and I'll pass a good suggestion along. But I will say this: School Summer group trips really are over-rated.....but I respect your aims and intentions.

You might consider selling fair trade products (such as coffee and chocolate) to your friends and family to raise money. Fair trade means that the farmer / worker in Africa/ Latin America / Asia is getting a fair price for their goods. Basically you can raise money for your trip while helping people!
