How do I upload photos onto the internet?

Internet cafe's / computers to upload photos in Washington, DC?

  • Hi - I am staying at 1009 NW 11th St at WDC and most accommodation places have internet computers but you cant plug in your camera to unload your photos, which is what I need to do! Can anyone recommend anywhere in the near vicinity, any internet cafe's I can try? TIA

  • Answer:

Your best bet is a Kinkos-FedEx store that offers laptop use. Some Kinkos-FedEx stores feature Sony PictureStation that allows you to create prints and CDR's of your images right from your camera. Use the store locator at the Web site below. Also, Yahoo! offers Flickr.com and that site includes the software to upload your images.

There's the Cyber stop cafe at 1513 17th Street NW, (202) 234-2470. Not sure if you can plug in your camera - but worth a try. It's somewhat expensive (about $5 for 1/2 hour, $7 for an hour last time I was there).
