What are places to see in sens?

I have 24 hours to see these places, please help me plan my Washington DC trip! I've never been there before!!?

  • I will give points to best answerer!!! Please help me plan my trip. I will be traveling by car but i don't know if this is the best way to get around to see all of these places. These are places i want to visit. I have 24 hours to see them and i plan on staying for a short while to each place to mainly take pics. Keep in mind some places close earlier than others. So, which places should i see first? Also please help me put together a plan of what places i should see first and last? When planning can you help me bunch up the places that are closest to each other so i don't waste time and get to see them all, thanks!! ( White House Capitol Washington Monument Old Town Alexandria Ford Theater Lincoln Memorial Thomas Jefferson memorial FDR Memorial The Old Post Office (to get a great view of the city) Smithsonian Museum (Natural History, National Air and Space, American History)--Will stay a couple hours at most to see these 3 exhibits

    You can drive because there's surprisingly plenty of parking. To see what you want to see I would park at the Smithsonian. DC has a "subway"/rail system. Go to the Metro's website for more info: http://www.wmata.com/ You might want to use that rather than driving around.
