The St. Louis Zoo is the better zoo. The zoo itself sits in one of the largest urban parks in the country (that is Forest Park). On certain days parking can be a bit of a walk at the STL Zoo because of zoo attendance but generally is not bad at all. The best thing about the STL Zoo is that it is FREE to get into.

The St. Louis zoo. Because it's so big that you can't even walk through the whole thing and see all the animals in one day. I have but it took us like three hours!
