Where is the best place to bring food and watch fireworks in St. Louis?

  • I know I can watch fireworks down at the Arch, but apparently you can't bring your own food/drinks and picnic, which is what the 4th is all about for me. Where's the best place to go where I can bring my own food and still see the fireworks?

    You can watch the St Louis County show at Jefferson Barracks Park in South County (called the JB Blast) and you are welcome to picnic with your own food and drinks. We did watch the downtown show one year from a parking lot on South Broadway but it just isn't quite the same. You can see all the displays but without the music it loses something.
