Answer:
Well first off it's not called Chinatown it's called the INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT. And how can you write a story when you didn't even know that, you aren't Chinese and have never been there? You're also UNDERAGED for this site - the minimum age is 13. Reported.

It would be awful to live there. It is between downtown and SODO, near Pioneer Square. All among the worst areas of the city. It is gang infested. I would have bars on my windows, my door barricaded, and would never set foot out of my house after dark. There are animals that live down there. Listen to each and every news report of someone being shot, stabbed, or killed in Seattle. It will be in the ID, or one of the areas right around it that I mentioned. And the animals would have no problem stomping your head into the curb for looking at them wrong in those neighborhoods.

I would agree with the other commented that it's not a very safe area. One of the charming aspects of Seattle is that it's ungentrified, that is, it still has the interesting little ethnic pockets that haven't been overrun by McDonalds or Pottery Barn. However, these areas often often high crime and full of food stamp fraud and homeless people. I've walked around there with my daughter about your age (we're always down there looking for exotic Asian things to cook!) and we don't always feel very safe, especially walking under the freeway. There are usually a bunch of thugs hanging out down there dealing drugs. Sometimes we walk several blocks without seeing another Caucasian, it's very segregated down there. I enjoy it, personally. I've been to their Chinese New Festival and they had a cool dragon dancing in the streets and candy was thrown for the kids. I think they have a good cohesive community with each other as Asians. A lot of them have been working to clean up the park and other areas around there. They really stick together as a group and a lot of them really care.

1. The proper name for the area is "International District" 2. Why would a Chinese girl come to America, LEAVE China, only to live in a region largely populated by Chinese people? That's absurd. >.>
Clones are people two.
