Graphic Design Schools?

Best art schools in western WA (such as the Seattle area) to study graphic design?

  • I'm a high school senior and I want to major in graphic design. I was planning on going to community college (2 years), then transfer over to a 4-year university. I was thinking on going to the Art Institute of Seattle until I read really bad reviews about it (that all teh school wants is your money; they have sucky teachers; and they have lazy, stupid students who can't get jobs after they graduate).     The Seattle Art Institute has a great reputation in the area. Many people come from out-of-state to attend this school. For the most part, people attending the school are serious about art and talented.

Check out The Evergreen State College, i don't know about the quality of it's graphic design programs but i do know it has really good reviews. you can find them on that student reviews site :) btw, it's in Olympia, so you might not like this one.

do not try the art ins. or iadt-seattle, you should get your degree from a Univ. it looks better on your resume and when you go looking for a job. all those 2 schools want is your money. i go to one of them and it was the worst decision of my life, the only reason i am staying is because i am almost graduating (next quarter) try central wa univ.
