Cheapest way from FCO airport to Giotto Hotel?

In Seattle the cheapest way from the airport to the Sheraton Hotel?

  • We will be in Seattle come June taking a cruise ship to the Norweigan Lines to an Alaska adventure. So what is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the Sheraton Hotel and the Hotel to the boat.We are four people so if we can save some money great.I see taxis are in the 30's for all 4 so if I can save more without walking (just kidding) I would like that deeply. Thanks and I appreciate your responses. HJB

  • Answer:

HI there...the hotel shuttle generally will be the least expensive means of transportation to the hotel from the airport, however Gray Line of Seattle offers $11 one-way from airport to hotel and $13 round-trip: http://www.graylineseattle.com/airportexpress1.cfm Shuttle Express can be competitive sometimes which offers a $10 roundtrip discount fee according to their website in certain rideshare regions. http://www.shuttleexpress.com/airportTransfers.html As for the hotel to the port, either taxi or hotel shuttle (if they offer this) would be the least expensive method of transport to the port of Seattle.

Does the hotel have an airport shuttle? If not do they have discount rates for taxi? Also check with the cruise line to see if they have offers or discounts for ground transportation to the boat. Good Luck ~ Bon Voyage!

Are you staying at the Sheraton downtown? You can catch the Metro #194 bus from Seatac Airport (it's public transit!) for about $2/person, or less depending when you arrive, if it's on the weekend and such. It will take you right downtown within a few blocks of the Sheraton. From there, I'm not sure exactly where the Ferry terminal is (next to the SODO building, I think?), but you can almost def catch a bus from the Sheraton to the ferry terminal, plus the Sheraton might also have a shuttle that might be free. Check out http://tripplanner.metrokc.gov/cgi-bin/itin_page.pl?resptype=U to see the specifics on buses, what time to catch and such (and also to check if you are talking about the Sheraton by the airport). Have fun on the cruise!
