Wheres a good place to live in Seattle?

• I need to find a pretty place in Seattle that's near a forest or the montians that's a nice place to live with a fairly good neighborhood. I'm writting a story that needs to take place in a rainy state so any information on Seattle will be great!!

  First, I assume you know about the home prices in Seattle, which are just about as high as you will find in the US. I would say you are looking for a suburb to the east of Seattle like North Bend or Black Diamond. Those are close to Seattle, yet are close to, if not in the Cascade Mountains. If you don't need to be close to Seattle, then there are a ton of small towns that are basically in the mountains. None of these cities will be bad neighborhoods. The only bad aspects of these might be a small town environment, but not crime.
