How much do your utilities cost in your house?

For a family house hold whats the typical cost of utilities? In WA.?

  • For a family of 3 or more, what is the typical cost of your electric bill, gas bill, and water bill? In Seattle, WA or in the suburbs of Seattle. I'd like to know for apartments/townhomes and homes. Thanks.

  • Answer:

It will depend to some extent where you live. Some of the utilities are public like Seattle City Light and Snohomish County PUD and in other areas it is supplied by "for profit" companies like Puget Power. Obviously the rates will be higher when the utility is supplied by a corporation that has a profit motive instead of being supplied by a non-profit publicly owned utility.
