Administrative assistants usually start at the bottom with room to move up in their fields, depending on what their offices handle. Cashiering/cart pushing leads to moving up... Just figure out what you're trying to get into, start at the bottom and show yourself. You'll move up if you excel and take pride in what you're doing, be it "big" or "small".
