Where is the best place to view the fourth of July fireworks?

Where is there a good, uncrowded place to view 4th of July fireworks in Spokane Washington?

  • Where is there a good, uncrowded place to view 4th of July fireworks in Spokane Washington? It will be my 2 and a half year olds first firework show, so I don't want to take her anywhere where there will be a ton of drunk or roughly people....so not downtown. Any suggestions?

  • Answer:

I would probably find a place on the near South Hill that has a view of downtown. Or if they let you, go up to the parking lot at the Holiday Inn On The Rock. If I recall they do it from Riverfront Park, and I am guessing the Division Street, Monroe Street and Maple Street Bridges will be too crowded. Hope this helps!

Last year we took our kids to a spot on the Gonzaga campus - on the hill above the river there. It wasn't bad, we had an unobstructed view and not a lot of people. No drunkenness or rowdiness in evidence.
