Will I get into Washington University?

Will i get accepted to University of Washington Seattle?

• hi, i'm currently a junior in high school. University of Washington is a must for me.... i really want to get in there! i moved a lot during my freshmen year and sophomore year. due to lots of moving, my gpa isn't at it's best right now... i've done lots of volunteering and had many jobs that involved teaching. i taught english in korean high school, and taught numbers of students (from ages 9-28) my current gpa is 3.5 i've done many volunteering i haven't taken an SAT yet.... but testing for me is.... not that great :( how can i get accepted? i know exactly what i want to major in, and what i want to become. ( of course pursuing a career in teaching in foreign country.< preferably in korea.>) please someone help me! gimme some good advice... btw i'm korean. i was born in korea. lived in france for 3 years and when i was 10 i was adopted .

  UW is really hard to get into now, its about a 40% acceptance rate for undergraduates. So you need to get your gpa up, take a good sat class and a lot of practice exams, and write a good essay. I'm sorry to say that your ethnicity probably won't help get you in, as there are a lot of asians at UW. It might be easier to get into UW Tacoma. It's not in Seattle, but its the same degree. You can always transfer to UW Seattle after a year or two if you do well enough. I would also apply to other state schools. Central and Western have very respected teaching programs, and its much easier to get in.
